Purpose of Romans, WCMS Needs Proctors, Global Hope for India (Pastoral Emphasis for 4/12)

Last week, we started our new Bible Study series on the Book of Romans.  In preparation for week two, read Romans 1:18-3:20 as we look at "Sin & Righteousness Demanded".  Romans is an extremely important book to Christian doctrine.  Join us again on Wednesday at 7pm.

As a part of our purpose to serve the community, we have "adopted" West Cary Middle School.  Now we have another opportunity to serve the school again as they need proctors for EOGs during May 18th - 22nd for all grade levels (Math, Language Arts and 8th Grade Science).  They are actively seeking committed community members to fill the 65 proctor slots.  The hours of 7:30 am - 11:30 am approximately will cover the proctor needs each day of testing.  If the testing area completes the test earlier than the allotted time, the proctor is released to leave the classroom.  If you are able to volunteer as a proctor, please sign-up online.

Next Sunday, we plan to have guest with us.  A representative from Global Hope for India will present on opportunities for mission trips to India.

I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. I was talking to my very dear sister, soror, friend Sis Brandi Hancock and she and I were having a heart to heart. I told her that I was

One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
