Joshua Sermon Series Break, Bible Bowl II Champs, Church Family Meeting (Pastoral Emphasis for 4/28)

We're taking a break from Joshua and will resume on June 2. This will allow me to take a little rest and prep for the next part of the series. I look forward to hearing from some of our ministers in May.   Congrats to the T2+1 team for winning our Bible Bowl II : (From L to R: Jae Smith, Cynthia Aldridge, Janae Branch, and Tammy Lackey)   Today, we had our 2Q Church Family Meeting . A couple of things that were covered... The Family Fun Day that was originally planned for today has been moved to June as part of the conclusion of VBS. On Friday, we had a representative from Called to Peace Ministries to do some initial training for our leadership and tell us about the ministry. We collected a total of $1200 in gift cards and $200 in cash! Ms. Burrell said, “I thank you all so much for the genuine help...I've never been helped with this in my life, it's a blessing.” All glory to God!  Next Sunday, we'll be having a Church Family Meeting right after the service. All members are asked to attend. I'll be sending out a special Webex link this week for those who will be attending virtually.    On Thursday, 4/25 at 7pm, I will be speaking at New Dimensions Fellowship Church with Pastor Maurice Wright for their 20th Church Anniversary. Our Gospel Choir will be accompanying me. Everyone is invited to the service at 4000 Bear Cat Way, Morrisville, NC 27560. The service will be Throwback Thursday so we

Theological Seminar on Evangelism, Church-Wide Prayer Gathering (Pastoral Emphasis for 4/14)

“Is our gospel too small?"   (RSS subscribers: Click here to watch video)  Join us this engaging course on evangelism at our Theological Seminar on April 20th at 9AM. This course presents a way of talking about the gospel that acknowledges that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross offers believers more than just a ticket to heaven. Choung’s gospel diagram presents a fuller picture of what the good news is and makes it easier to share.    Join us for corporate worship at our Church-Wide Prayer Gathering on Tuesday, 4/16, from 7 to 8PM. Our MAPS ministry (Mature Adults Praying & Studying) will be hosting. You can submit your prayer requests online or in the box at the back of the sanctuary.    The Titus 2 Women's Ministry held their bi-annual meeting in the MPR for 30 minutes after service where they shared details on Sisterhood Week and the 2025 Summer Women's Retreat.
