So if you have not given anything yet, now i s the time! 2 Cor. 8:7-8: “But just as you excel in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us--see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.” We must also excel in the grace of giving. And when we read Mark 12:41-44 , we understand that the value of a gift is not determined by its amount, but by the spirit in which it is given. T
In the beginning was the Word ("logos"), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
