Praying for the Bereaved, Cary Commons Nursing Home, "Lies That Go Unchallenged" (Pastoral Emphasis from 5/2)

As a community of faith, let us continue to pray for one another especially those who are sick and experiencing bereavement. We have had several members who have lost their mothers recently. You can check our Family CARE page to find the name of those to pray for.

Another opportunity to spread the Gospel & Serve the Community: Mt. Zion will minister at Cary Commons (Chatham St.) on Sunday, May 16th, at 2:00pm. We need Mini Faith in Action volunteers to clean & dust railings inside the nursing home during the time of the service. Supplies will be provided by the nursing home but you may also bring your own. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.

We just wrapped up part 1 of the "Sharing the Faith" Bible Study series. We're starting a new series, "Lies That Go Unchallenged" this Wednesday at 7:00pm. Please join us.

Youth Sunday, J. Allen Lewis Scholarship Winners, A Word to Our Graduates (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/14)

  Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God.  Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion.
