2023 Church Theme, New Year's Eve Service, Merry Christmas (Pastoral Emphasis for 12/25)

Our church theme for 2023 is Bearing Witness to the Gospel of Christ. The theme verse is Acts 1:8. We want to focus on being effective witnesses for Jesus at home and outside of the church. 



Join us for our New Year's Eve service at 10pm. After midnight, we will celebrate Communion. And we will NOT have service on New Year's Day. 

Mt. Zion has partnered with the Town of Cary to participate in the MLK 2023 Dreamfest weekend to honor Dr. Martin L King Jr’s legacy through service. We have a Walk of Hope on January 16th starting at 9am to raise awareness for survivors of abuse & addiction. We're asking people to bring donations to the walk. You can register in Realm. 

MERRY CHRISTMAS! This Christmas, let us celebrate the salvation brought by the virgin-born, Son of God, Jesus Christ!

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws.
