Praise Reports, Christmas Day Service, Lunch with College Students (Pastoral Emphasis for 12/18)

Praise Reports
  • Deacon Phil Blango's surgery to remove cancer went very well. He's out of ICU and in a regular room. He's started moving around with the help of a walker.
  • Sis. Angela Perry's daughter was diagnosed with terminal cancer with only a few months to live. She recently had a scan done that showed no cancer present!!

There will be no Bible Study for the next couple of weeks. We'll resume on January 4th by starting our study in the book of Acts. Read chapters 1-4 in preparation.

Sunday, we're moving our service from 10 am to 8 am. Join us on Christmas morning as we recognize and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. There will be no service at 10 am.

Invite someone to join us for our New Year's Eve service at 10pm. After midnight, we will celebrate Communion. And we will NOT have service on New Year's Day.

I enjoyed lunch with college students after church today. We talked about the best and worst things about college, challenges to their faith, and how the church can better support them during these years.
