March Birthdays & Anniversaries, EQUIP Conference, My Hope Sunday (Pastoral Emphasis for 3/6)

We're taking a break from Leviticus and will resume after Easter.  Giving Statements for 2021 are availability for you to pick up for your taxes.

Happy Birthday to our March babies...

Happy Anniversaries to our March couples...

Our Senior Birthday Surprise goes to Sis. Minnie Liverman!

Sis. Danelle Gambrell Clark announced that the Fine Arts Ministry (FAM) is recruiting for more members to join the ministry. So if you're interested in participating in dance, mime, spoken word, or acting, please reach out Sis. Clark.

As part of our focus on Moving to the Right, we're having the EQUIP Conference on March 18-19. The conference is focused on equipping people for evangelism and discipleship. This conference is sponsored by the Ministers Ministry. We'll have talks, lectures, and panel discussions. Registration is open. We'll have free book swag for those who register and attend in person.

My Hope Sunday is next Sunday. We're asking every member to commit to inviting at least one unbeliever or unchurched person to attend church either in-person or virtually on next Sunday. We have a digital invitation that you can use to invite people.

People brought their commitment cards or papers with the names of those they are inviting to My Hope Sunday. We prayed over those names that they would attend and God would open their hearts to hear and receive the Gospel.

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem. For a country that has been ...
