Attention, LADIES of Mt. Zion! The Adult Ministry's Women of Worship is having a KICKOFF event on Saturday, March 12th, from 2-4pm. We've been invited by New Life Ministries of Apex to the Ordination service for Elder Tony Bethea on March 12th at 4pm. Having served as a deacon at Mt. Zion, we're glad to see Bro. Bethea serving God's church as an elder.
We have a single mom that needs clothing items for a 24 month old toddler boy. He has outgrown his clothes. He wears 2T clothes and size 5 diapers. Gently used items will be welcomed. Also, gift cards are needed to get diapers. We have a box set up in the church near the Welcome Center for the next two weeks.
My Hope Sunday is 3/20. Minister of Music, Bro. Spence Martin, shared his testimony of how God developed his trust and dependency on Him when we was without a job for 2 years. We also brought the names of those we're inviting to My Hope Sunday to the altar and prayed over them.
