Pastoral Emphasis from 3/25

As we find out about job opportunities, internships for students, scholarship info, and such, we post it on MyChurch in the classified section.

Ladies: We will be serving dinner to homeless women at the Helen Wright Center in Raleigh on Thurs., Mar. 29th at 7:00pm. The Deaconess Ministry is in need of donations to purchase the meat to serve the ladies. Your donations can be given to any deaconess.

Spring Youth Revival is this week, Wed thru Fri at 7:00pm. We have dynamic guest speakers each night. Then on Saturday is the Teen Summit. Parents, please bring your youth out to these events.

Have you put the names of those you plan to invite to Harvest Crusade in the prayer box yet? Don't forget to fill out the names on the Harvest bookmark and drop the bottom portion in the prayer box so the names can be prayed over at our prayer meeting on Tuesdays.

Youth Sunday, J. Allen Lewis Scholarship Winners, A Word to Our Graduates (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/14)

  Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God.  Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion. We appreciate the investment these programs make in developing and encouraging young people, and we thank Ms. Daniel and Ms. Owens for their leadership and partnership. J.  Recently Came Forward We rejoice in sharing that Chris Walker has rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. What a wonderful reminder that God continues to pursue His people with grace and mercy.
