We’re Looking for WNBS Teachers

Do you know what your spiritual gifts are?

We've encouraged everyone to take a spiritual gifts survey. If you haven't taken one yet, this is a great time to discover how God has uniquely gifted you for ministry.

If teaching is one of your spiritual gifts, Christian Education has an opportunity for you to put that gift into practice!

Christian Education is looking for additional Wednesday Night Bible Study (WNBS) teachers for 2027. Teaching God's Word is both a privilege and a responsibility, and we want to equip those who are called and gifted to serve in this way.

If you're interested in serving as a WNBS teacher, please register using the QR code and plan to attend the Teacher Workshop on November 14.

You may have a gift that God wants to use to help someone else grow in their understanding of His Word. Don't just discover your gift—use it!

Theological Seminar: Living Beyond Offense

Everyone is invited to join us for our next Theological Seminar on Saturday, October 3. Our topic is an important one:

Living Beyond Offense: A Workshop on Forgiveness and Conflict Resolution

We're excited to welcome Yana Jenay Conner, writer and Bible teacher, who will lead us as we explore the biblical path from offense to forgiveness, freedom, and spiritual maturity.

Offense and conflict are part of life, but as followers of Christ, we are called to respond differently. This workshop is designed to give us practical, biblical tools to navigate hurt, extend forgiveness, and pursue healthy, Christ-centered relationships.

Come expecting to learn, grow, and be challenged by God's Word.

Raleigh Area Concert of Prayer 2026

Mt. Zion will once again participate in the Raleigh Area Concerts of Prayer on Tuesday, October 6, from 7:00–9:00 PM at Triangle Cinemas in Raleigh.

Because we will be participating in this special gathering, we will NOT have our regular Church-Wide Prayer Rally in October. Instead, we want to encourage everyone to join us for the Concert of Prayer as we unite with other believers from throughout the Raleigh area.

Registration is required. You can register using the QR code or stop by the registration table after service.

The registration deadline is September 30.

Youth Sunday, J. Allen Lewis Scholarship Winners, A Word to Our Graduates (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/14)

Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God. Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion.
