Sweetheart Ball

Couples, mark your calendars! Our Sweetheart Ball will take place on Friday, February 14, from 6:00–10:00 pm. This special evening is designed to celebrate love, marriage, and togetherness.
Please be sure to register and submit payment as soon as possible, but no later than January 25.

The Village Gathering

One meaningful way we live out Christ’s command to love our neighbors is by building genuine community. We invite you to join us for The Village Gathering, a free meal and guided discussion led by NC State’s Wolfpack D.E.N. (Discussion Engagement Network).

This event is part of the Town of Cary’s MLK Dreamfest weekend and is a collaborative effort among churches and non-profits, including Cary First Christian Church, Ekklesia Church, First Cary UMC, and Mt. Zion Church. Come ready to listen, learn, and connect.

MLK Walk of Hope

Following that weekend, join us on Monday, January 19, at 10:00 am for the 5K Walk for Hope, sponsored by Mt. Zion Church. This walk supports the Dorcas Food Pantry, and we will be collecting non-perishable food items. It’s a great opportunity to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service and compassion.

Church-Wide Prayer Rally

Finally, we invite the entire church family to our first Church-Wide Prayer Rally of the new year, hosted by the Men’s Ministry.

As of Friday evening, the confirmed death toll in Texas has risen to 129, with at least 150 individuals still missing across the state.
