Christian Education Survey, Upcoming Bible Study Schedule, Happy Thanksgiving (Pastoral Emphasis for 11/23)

 Welcome Our New Members

Please join us in welcoming Claudia Davis and Beverly Madison as the newest members of our church family! Both have completed New Members Orientation and New Members Interview. We praise God for adding to our fellowship and look forward to walking alongside them in faith and community.

More Handicap Parking Spots Available

We’re committed to making our campus accessible to everyone. We now have more handicap parking spaces located at the front of the church, bringing our total to 10 designated spots. As a reminder, please park in these spaces only if you have a handicap parking sticker. Thank you for helping us care for one another well.

Christian Education Survey

Growing spiritually is more than attending services—it’s learning and deepening our understanding of God’s Word. To help us improve how we teach, disciple, and engage through Christian Education, we’re asking all members to complete a brief survey about our current Bible study and discipleship offerings.

Your honest feedback will help us serve you better. All responses will remain confidential, and we sincerely appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your thoughts.

Angel Tree Outreach

A huge thank you to everyone supporting our Angel Tree ministry this year! Through your generosity, 125 Angel Tree bags were distributed to members to bless children and families in need.

Please remember to return your Angel Tree bags by Sunday, November 30th. Your participation is making a real impact in our community.

Upcoming Bible Study Schedule

As we approach the holiday season, please take note of the adjusted Bible study schedule:

  • No Bible Study this Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

  • In December, we will have two Bible Studies only: December 3rd and December 10th.

  • We’ll be studying the Song of Solomon, a rich and meaningful book with relevance for everyone—especially young adults, those preparing for marriage, and married couples. We’d love for you to join us for these two important sessions.

Advent Sermon Series Begins Next Sunday

Next Sunday, we begin a new sermon series for Advent titled “The Promise of Advent.” Throughout the season, we’ll reflect on the profound hope, peace, joy, and love that Christ brings into the world. It’s a wonderful opportunity to prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving

Finally, I want to wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Whether you're traveling or staying close to home, please be safe. This time of year reminds us of God’s abundant goodness and gives us a moment to pause and reflect with gratitude.

Still, we know that for many, this season carries both joy and sorrow. Some families have empty seats. Some gatherings feel different from years past. As we celebrate, let’s also commit to praying for those who are grieving, struggling, or hurting during this time. May God’s comfort and peace be near to all.

Responding to the Flooding, Christmas in July Food Drive, New Sermon Series (Pastoral Emphasis for 7/13)

Responding to the Flooding All of us are painfully aware of the devastating flooding that struck our nation recently. As of Friday evening, the confirmed death toll in Texas has risen to 129, with at least 150 individuals still missing across the state. Our hearts are heavy, and we grieve for the lives lost and the families enduring unimaginable pain. One of the first things people tend to do is look for someone to blame. Was it the fault of the warning system not being early enough? Was it the fault of the government (state and federal)? Was it the fault of God? If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
