Welcome New Members, Storage Room Renovation, Church-Wide Prayer Rally (Pastoral Emphasis for 11/16)

Welcome Our New Members!

We are excited to celebrate Aaron and Rajanique Pete, who have officially completed New Members Orientation and their New Members Interview. Please join us in welcoming them into our church family! Take a moment to greet and help them feel right at home.

Storage Room Renovation

We’re giving the storage room in the children’s wing a much-needed refresh! To make this project go smoothly, please note the following schedule:

  • Friday, November 21 – All items will be moved into the hallway. New shelves and storage bins will be installed.

  • Saturday, November 22 (9am–3pm) – Ministries may sort and place the items they want to keep into the designated bins.

  • After 3pm on Saturday – Any items left in the hallway will be discarded.

  • Need a bin? Submit your storage bin request by November 18.

Thank you for helping us keep our ministry spaces organized and ready for effective service!

Church-Wide Prayer Rally

Our final Prayer Rally of the year will take place on Tuesday, November 18, hosted by our Worship Ministry. We invite everyone to join us for one hour of united, corporate prayer as we end the year seeking God together.

You may submit your prayer requests online or place them in the box located at the back of the sanctuary.

IronWorkers Meeting – Today After Service

A reminder to all families: the Men’s Ministry is relaunching the IronWorkers Mentoring Program for young men in grades 6–12, and it begins today right after the service in the MPR.

  • Parents are invited to attend the first 30 minutes for an introduction and Q&A.

  • Monthly meetings will last about three hours, include a meal, and rides home will be provided.

  • For questions, please contact Bro. Adrian Jones or Bro. Bert Dupree.

We look forward to seeing lives shaped through mentorship, discipleship, and brotherhood.

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem. For a country that has been ...
