T2 TEA, Happy Veterans Day, Week 2 of Fast (Pastoral Emphasis for 11/9)

Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

We celebrate with Aaron and Rajanique Pete, who were married yesterday! May the Lord bless your union with joy, faith, and a lifetime of love as you walk together in His grace.

T2 Fall T.E.A. — Saturday, November 15 at 9 AM

Ladies, make plans to attend our final T.E.A. (Teaching, Encouraging, and Affirming) of the year! This special gathering will focus on building sisterhood and being on mission to make disciples. Don’t miss this opportunity for fellowship and spiritual encouragement.

T2 Gives Back

As part of our time together, the ministry will also sponsor The Carying Place through our T2 Gives Back initiative. Attendees are asked to bring $25 gift cards (Walmart, Target, Food Lion, or Dollar Tree) or twin bedding (new sheet sets or comforters) to bless the families served by The Carying Place.

Corral Riding – Volunteers Needed

Calling all ladies! Join us for our final Corral Riding outreach of the year this Saturday from 12–1:30 PM. We’ll enjoy food, fun, and fellowship as we gather around the table with the girls and staff for intentional conversation about what we’re thankful for this season.

Corral is excited to see us, and this is a wonderful opportunity to close out our partnership for the year with love and encouragement.

For questions, contact Evangelist Tayon Williams Dancy.

Time to Fast & Pray — Week 2

Church Family, we are in a two-week period of fasting and prayer as we seek the Lord together.

We’ve just completed Week 1, where we fasted and prayed for unity in our church. Starting tomorrow, we begin Week 2, focusing on marriages.

Let’s humble ourselves before God and ask Him to:

  • Heal divisions and restore communication,

  • Bring reconciling grace to marriages that are struggling or in crisis,

  • Strengthen the one-flesh union in all marriages.

This is a partial fast, meaning you may skip certain meals or refrain from specific foods rather than abstaining completely. Let’s continue to pray, seek God’s face, and trust Him to move mightily in our church and homes.

Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God.  Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion. We appreciate the investment these programs make in developing and encouraging young people, and we thank Ms. Daniel and Ms. Owens for their leadership and partnership. J.
