VBS is Free, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Children's Day (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/7)

All are invited to join us again for another Wednesday Family Worship. We will be studying 1 John 2:15-27. We'll start at 6pm with a meal. Around 6:45pm, we'll have some praise and worship and then start our study at 7pm and end at 8pm.

VBS is June 15 -19. The registration fee is waived and VBS is totally FREE; but any donations are appreciated. Although there is no charge for this year's VBS, we still need for you to register so we can prepare appropriately for the meals. Also, the Cary PD will be joining us on the last night to talk with the Adult class (part of our effort to build a better community relationship with the police and the African-American community).

Are you a prayer warrior? I'm looking for those interested in the ministry of intercessory prayer. There will be a brief after church meeting on 6/28 for all who are interested in the Prayer & Intercessory team.

Next Sunday is Children's Day. Our children and youth will be conducting worship service. We'll also be recognizing our High School graduates. We will have a young person speaking so we'll take a break from our current Twisted series.

So in order to remove any barriers that might prevent some from visiting us or feeling comfortable in our service, the leadership will dress a little more casual. We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. One Life Saved
