Church Family Meeting, Elder-led Prayer, Serving the Helen Wright Center (Pastoral Emphasis for 1/25)

We are reading through the Bible as a church family this year. We're following the 52 week reading plan. We are on week 4. You can download a copy of the reading plan from the announcement section of the church website.

Please update/confirm your contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.) to ensure that our records are accurate. You can call the church office, email our church secretary (see bulletin for details) or may use the connections card in the bulletin.

Tomorrow from 7 to 8pm is our first Church Family Meeting of this year. All members are asked to make every effort to attend. We'll be reviewing last year, our core doctrines and values, ministry initiatives for this year, and our financial status and position.

On Tuesday, we have Elder-led Prayer from 6 to 7pm. Everyone is invited to join us as we focus on specific prayer needs. If you are not able to attend but have prayer requests, you can place them in the prayer requests box at the Welcome Center, use the connections card, or submit them via our prayer request form at the church website. Andrew Murray, a 19th Century pastor, said "A praying church will be endued with the power of the Holy Spirit".

On Wednesday at 7pm, we conclude our Bible Study series, "Exploring the Holy Spirit". We will be discussing the gifts of tongues and healing. Come out and bring a friend.

Ladies, the Deaconess Ministry request your assistance with meal service for our sisters at the Helen Wright Center on Thursday, 29th, at at 7:00pm. You may sign up online. You may also make a monetary donation toward the meal. Contact Deaconesses Phyllis Lewis or Susan Fortenberry.

Even though we don't have a formal dress code at church, I think we have an unspoken one. Our guest may perceive a dress code based on what they see on the stage from leadership. So in order to remove any barriers that might prevent some from visiting us or feeling comfortable in our service, the leadership will dress a little more casual. We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. I was talking to my very dear sister, soror, friend Sis Brandi Hancock and she and I were having a heart to heart. I told her that I was

One Life Saved
