Shout Out to the Men, Outreach Opportunity, Dual Citizenship (Pastoral Emphasis from 7/19)

I give a BIG shout-out to all the men that participated on the Habitat for Mt. Zion project. These men came out and worked hard over two Saturdays to do some renovations at our old facility. Thank you all for your service and hard work! It is greatly appreciated.

On Sunday afternoon, Mt. Zion ministered at Cary Health & Rehab Center at 2:00pm. Sis. Angela Cody was the speaker and the Senior Choir brought the music. If you are looking for opportunities to reach out to our community, this is a great one. Often, the residents at these homes are so neglected and it's great for the Body of Christ to share with them that God loves them.

Starting Wednesday, we're starting a new Bible Study series called "Dual Citizenship". Everyone is invited to join us for this new series.

Our next Church Family Meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27th, at 7:00pm. All members are asked to be present.

Youth Sunday, J. Allen Lewis Scholarship Winners, A Word to Our Graduates (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/14)

  Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God.  Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion. We appreciate the investment these programs make in developing and encouraging young people, and we thank Ms. Daniel and Ms. Owens for their leadership and partnership. J.
