We invite all of Newer Members (October 2007 to present) to join me for a special Tea on this Sunday, March 8th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. The Tea will include refreshments and time for you to interact with me and the Elders. I look forward to meeting and interacting with all of you.

Convoy of Hope: Mt. Zion has volunteered to help in the areas of media relations, food services, kid’s zone, groceries, guest services, and the prayer tent. There will be training for those interested in praying on March 12 and 13th. There will be a prayer rally on 17th at 7pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Raleigh. I will post a video for Convoy of Hope soon. I'm getting real excited about showing the love of Christ to our community!

We have an immediate opportunity to help someone in need: A single mother of two girls, 3 and 1. She just moved into a new place and is in desperate need of furniture (bedroom, living room, dinning room, cribs) and home furnishings (dishes, cutlery, pots and the whole nine yards). Sis. Chilongo will coordinate getting these items to her so please contact her or the church office to donate items. Thanks to those who have already donated. Your outpouring of love is greatly appreciated!

Mortgage Burning Ceremony (10.6.24)

Today is a day of celebration and gratitude as we come together to witness the burning of our church’s mortgage! This moment represents years of faith, commitment, and sacrificial giving from this congregation. It’s a testament to God’s faithfulness and the dedication of His people. If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
