Pastoral Emphasis from 3/23

A big shout out to the men who came out to do some work around the church grounds on Saturday. If you missed out on the work...don't worry...there's more work to be done. Check with our facilities manager, Deacon Johnson, to find out how you can help.

It looks like the influence of Mt. Zion is going international. One of our high schoolers, Bro. Brinson Jones, is currently in Japan. Sis. Brandi Hancock along with her band Mixed Water and Shaw University will be singing in Prague, Czech Republic, Budapest, Hungary, Frankfurt Germany, and Vienna. Let's keep Sis. Brandi and the others in our prayers that God would keep them safe as they travel and that they would be a great witness for Christ through their singing.

We are partnering with Pastor Robert Mason of Gethesemane True Vine Holiness Church of Raleigh to host the play, "The Whole House", here on Sat., Apr. 5th at 3:00pm. We have some information cards available at the Welcome Center that you can use to invite others.

Don't forget that every 4th Sunday, our love offering will be going to support Overseas Missions.

We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. Zion Church Family...Today is July 27, 2009 and I would like to share the blessing that I have received from your church. I was talking to my very dear sister, soror, friend Sis Brandi Hancock and she and I were having a heart to heart. I told her that I was

One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
