Pastoral Emphasis from 3/16

Thanks to those attended the Home Buying Seminar on yesterday. It was a very informative session. We have a few extra information packets available at the welcome center.

I want to remind everyone that we have ministries for everyone to participate in. The Couples Ministry just had a great Couples Café; the Men’s Ministry is having a life study group on Friday; the Women's Ministry is having a "Snacks & a Movie" event on Friday; for our singles, there's a Singles Sip Café every 4th Sunday during Sunday School; and the Youth Ministry will be having youth week activities from the 27th to the 30th (includes revival, Saturday event, and Contemporary service). So I encourage everyone to get plugged into the life of the church and find the ministry that you can be involved in.

Westwood Baptist Church in Cary will be having a Drive-Thru Easter event on this Friday and Saturday. Click here for details.

Come join us for our Sunrise Service at 6:00am on Easter Sunday, March 23rd which will be followed by Breakfast, Sunday School, and our 9:45am Service. Communion will be served at both services. Hopefully, everyone got a 3:16 track, which I encourage you to give out and invite someone to an Easter service.

Dress Code, Spreading the Gospel to Japan, Skits & Pizza (Pastoral Emphasis from 7/26)

So in order to remove any barriers that might prevent some from visiting us or feeling comfortable in our service, the leadership will dress a little more casual. We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. Zion Church Family...Today is July 27, 2009 and I would like to share the blessing that I have received from your church. I was talking to my very dear sister, soror, friend Sis Brandi Hancock and she and I were having a heart to heart. I told her that I was

One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
