NYE Service, IronWorkers Fellowship, Merry Christmas (Pastoral Emphasis for 12/21)

Recently Came Forward

We rejoice in celebrating Chelsea Johnson (age 8)—daughter of Daquon and Ch’ressa Johnson—who recently came forward, having trusted Christ as her personal Savior. Chelsea is now a candidate for baptism, and we praise God for this beautiful step of faith. Please join us in praying for Chelsea and her family as she continues to grow in her walk with Christ.

New Year’s Eve Service

As we prepare to welcome the new year, mark your calendars and plan to join us for our New Year’s Eve Service, beginning at 10:30 PM. This will be a meaningful time of worship, reflection, and thanksgiving as we look back on God’s faithfulness and look forward with hope.

IronWorkers Fellowship Reminder

A reminder to our families: the IronWorkers—our mentoring ministry for young men in grades 6–12—will enjoy a Football and Fun Pizza Fellowship immediately following the service benediction. The Men’s Ministry will provide rides home for the youth who remain after church, ensuring a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone involved.

As we celebrate these moments together, we are reminded of God’s goodness, the strength of our church family, and the joy of investing in the next generation.

Merry Christmas!

On Christmas, as you unwrap your presents, remember the Messiah who was born and wrapped in swaddling cloths. As you admire your Christmas tree and the gifts under it, remember the Messiah who was nailed on a tree for our sins so that we could receive the greatest gift of all.

May this season be filled with peace, joy, and renewed hope in Christ.

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem. For a country that has been ...
