Welcome Our New Members!

We’re delighted to welcome Yvonne Campbel, Elaine Warmack, and Maggie Mae Smith to the Mt. Zion family! We thank God for adding to our church and look forward to growing, serving, and worshiping together. If you see them around, be sure to greet them warmly and help them feel at home.

Missions: Together Expo

You’re invited to join believers from across the Triangle for the Missions: Together Expo on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Apex, NC.

This gathering is designed to inspire, equip, and connect us for God’s mission—whether across the world or across the street.

We’re thrilled to welcome Rosaria Butterfield as our keynote speaker! She’ll be sharing how to “grow up in Christ and go with gospel hospitality,” starting right in our own homes. Don’t miss this opportunity to be challenged and encouraged in your walk with Christ.

Church Family Meeting

Our next Church Family Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 26, immediately after the morning worship service. This is an important time to hear ministry updates, discuss upcoming plans, and stay connected as a church family. Please plan to attend.

Celebrating 160 Years of God’s Faithfulness!

Our 160th Church Anniversary Celebration is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Join us for our Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 18, from 12 to 4 PM at Ritter Park.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Seating: The shelter will seat many, but not everyone, so please bring lawn, beach, or stadium chairs and keep them handy in your car.

  • Parking: Parking inside the park is limited. We encourage carpooling with family and friends. Overflow parking will be available near Harris Teeter on Kildaire Farm Road, and parking attendants will help guide you. You may also meet at the church to coordinate carpools.

  • What to Wear: Show your Mt. Zion spirit by wearing your anniversary T-shirt or a purple shirt if you didn’t purchase one.

  • T-Shirt Pick-Up: If you ordered a shirt, you can pick it up today in the church lobby.

Then, join us again on Sunday, October 19, for a special joint worship service with Christ First Christian Fellowship Center as we continue celebrating 160 years of God’s faithfulness and grace!

If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
