VBS Volunteers Needed, Watoto Children's Choir, EQUIP Conference (Pastoral Emphasis for 3/9)

Rededication  Let’s celebrate with our brother in Christ, Micah Bracey , who has recently rededicated his life to the Lord! We rejoice in this decision and ask everyone to keep Micah in your prayers as he walks forward in faith. VBS Volunteers Needed! Vacation Bible School is coming up this June , and the VBS Committee is seeking volunteers to help make this an incredible experience for our children. Bereavement: Lifting Up Our Brothers and Sisters in Prayer We extend our deepest sympathies to: Deacon Rufus Credle on the recent passing of his father and stepmother. May God’s peace and comfort surround him during this difficult time. Shenithia Griffin , as she mourns the passing of her mother and our dear sister, Norma Winston . A Celebration of Life service for Sister Norma Winston will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM here at Mt. Zion. There will be a Visitation with the family from 12:00 - 1:00 PM before the service. Pulpit Swap  Today was a special Sunday as we participated in a Pulpit Swap , welcoming Pastor Mark Knetsch from Resurrection Life Church to share God’s Word with us. His message, titled “New Life” , was based on Ephesians 4:16-24 and reminded us of the transformation we experience in Christ. As believers, we are called to put off the old self and walk in the newness of life that comes through Jesus. What a powerful encouragement to live each day as a reflection of His grace!   Celebrating a New Sister in Christ We rejoice with Sherhonda Rhodes , who has recently joined Mt.   Join Us for the Corral’s Red Carpet Sneaker Ball! We’re thrilled to announce an exciting event for the young ladies of Corral Riding—our Red Carpet Sneaker Ball on Thursday, February 22nd ! This special evening promises to be a night filled with fun, community, and inspiration as we bless and empower these amazing young women.    Volunteers Needed!   To make this event a success, we’re calling on our church family and community for support. If you’re 18 or older, we’d love your help in the following areas:  Event Setup: Assist with decorating, arranging seating, and preparing the church.  Event Breakdown: Help us clean up and restore the church after the event.  Men Only Roles: We’re specifically seeking men to serve as ushers and food servers during the event.  Your time and effort will make a huge difference in creating a memorable experience for the girls. A Joyful Announcement: Welcome Baby Eliana! We are thrilled to celebrate the birth of Eliana Corena Thompson , daughter of Lachonya and Robert Thompson. Eliana arrived on December 21st , weighing 6 lbs 2 oz and measuring 19.25 inches long.  Her beautiful name, Eliana, has a special meaning in Hebrew: “God has answered.” This precious little one is indeed an answer to countless prayers. Little Erielle was born on January 2nd , weighing 6 lbs, 3 oz .
