Welcome to the Family

A warm Mt. Zion welcome to Yvonne Campbell, who recently trusted Christ as her personal Savior and joined our church family! We also extend our joy to Sis. Regine Reed, who has completed the New Member Orientation and Membership Interview process. Welcome to the family, Yvonne and Regine! We are excited to see how God will work in and through your lives as part of this community.

Verse by Verse Challenge – Final Day!

Today marks the conclusion of our Verse by Verse Challenge, a mission to translate the Gospel of Mark into the language of the Oma people, an unreached group in Southeast Asia. For $35 per verse, you can contribute to bringing the Word of God to those who have never heard it in their native tongue. If you haven’t given yet, it’s not too late! Simply include the note “Verse by Verse” when making your Love or Special Events Offering. Together, let’s ensure the Gospel reaches every corner of the world. Thank you for your generosity and heart for missions!

Special Christmas Service – Next Sunday

We invite you to join us next Sunday at 10 AM for our Special Christmas Worship Service as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, King Jesus! This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family to hear the message of hope, joy, and salvation found in Christ. Let’s come together to honor the King of kings during this blessed season.

We are grateful for all God is doing at Mt. Zion and look forward to worshiping with you this week. Let’s keep building His kingdom, one step at a time!

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem.
