2025 Church Theme, Testimony, NYE Service (Pastoral Emphasis for 12/29)

2025 Church Theme: "On Mission"

As we prepare to step into a new year, our church family is excited to embrace the 2025 theme: “On Mission.” This powerful theme calls us to align every aspect of our lives with God's purposes, particularly the call to share the gospel and demonstrate His love to others. Being "on mission" is more than a phrase—it's a way of life. It challenges us to see the everyday moments of our lives—our work, relationships, community involvement, and daily activities—as divine opportunities to reflect Christ and advance His Kingdom. This year, we’ll journey together to deepen our understanding of what it means to live "on mission" and, most importantly, to put it into practice.

As we go through 2025, expect opportunities to grow spiritually, engage in outreach, and see God move in transformative ways. Let’s commit together to live with intentionality, seeing every interaction as an opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love and truth.

Testimony

Sis. Brittany Nicole Jones, daughter of Elder Adrian and Deaconess Barbara Jones, shared her testimony today about how God used someone breaking into her car to start her journey towards rest and healing in God's church.

New Year’s Eve Service: Ushering in 2025 Together

We invite you to join us on New Year’s Eve as we gather to welcome 2025 with hearts full of praise and anticipation. Our special service will begin at 10:30 PM and include:

  • Testimonies: Hear stories of God’s faithfulness.
  • Praise and Worship: Lift your voice in thanksgiving as we honor God for all He’s done and trust Him for what’s ahead.
  • The Word: Receive a powerful and timely message to inspire and guide us into the new year.
  • Prayer and Countdown: Together, we’ll close 2024 in prayer and step into 2025 united as a family in Christ.

As we prepare for this night of reflection, celebration, and renewal, let’s look forward to stepping boldly into our mission as a church. We can’t wait to see you there!

Let’s start the year “on mission”—seeking God’s purpose, sharing His love, and making an eternal impact. Together, we’ll make 2025 a year of Kingdom advancement.

Mark your calendars and spread the word. See you at the New Year’s Eve Service!

Responding to the Flooding, Christmas in July Food Drive, New Sermon Series (Pastoral Emphasis for 7/13)

Responding to the Flooding All of us are painfully aware of the devastating flooding that struck our nation recently. As of Friday evening, the confirmed death toll in Texas has risen to 129, with at least 150 individuals still missing across the state. Our hearts are heavy, and we grieve for the lives lost and the families enduring unimaginable pain. One of the first things people tend to do is look for someone to blame. Was it the fault of the warning system not being early enough? Was it the fault of the government (state and federal)? Was it the fault of God? If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
