Clean 'Em Up & Bring 'Em Out, Not a Competition, Vote with Biblical Wisdom (Pastoral Emphasis for 10/27)

We welcome our newest members who has completed NMO & their Membership Interview): Zach & Nicole Williams

We're having a special event for our next Men's Image Bearers Meeting on 11/9 at 8am called Clean 'Em Up & Bring 'Em Out. It will be a Father/Son/Mentee/Discipleship Automobile Show. If you would like to showcase your vehicle, bring it out and let's have a fun time of fellowship and getting to know one another.

You are invited to attend the Missions:Together Conference on 11/2 to reignite your passion for missions and gain practical tools to make a difference. Our emphasis will be on our competition with the Kingdom of Darkness — not with each other! Learn from four exciting speakers and four breakout sessions. Meet exhibitors representing the spectrum of missions work.

Missions:Together Conference, "Not a Competition" will be hosted at The Summit Church in Apex. Come out to be equipped with practical tools and teaching to reignite your passion for the Great Commission. The event is free with lunch provided. Bring 5 friends with you to the conference and score a $25 gift card! If you refer 1 person, you can get a $5 gift card if they mention your name at registration.

Since prayer is the strategy and fuel for missions, there will be a dedicated prayer team at the conference that will be praying during the conference and for people as needed. The conference prayer team is looking for prayer warriors and intercessors to join them in prayer. So if you're interested, please let me know.

I want to encourage everyone to go out and vote and more importantly to vote with biblical wisdom. Do your research on candidates, especially those who are local, so you can vote intelligently. Compare what candidates stand for and compare against biblical standards so you can vote biblically. Also, keep in mind the actual power or ability that a candidate actually has. Even the President cannot do whatever they want. The two Presidential powers they have is to select judges and to lead the military. Then on election night, I want everyone to go to bed and sleep well. No matter who wins the election, the mission of the church doesn't change. As Pastor Stephen Davey said at the recent Shepherds 360 conference, "We don't need to save America, we need to save American". Regardless of who is in the office, the church's mission is to make disciples by sharing the Gospel and teaching others about Christ.

Responding to the Flooding, Christmas in July Food Drive, New Sermon Series (Pastoral Emphasis for 7/13)

Responding to the Flooding All of us are painfully aware of the devastating flooding that struck our nation recently. As of Friday evening, the confirmed death toll in Texas has risen to 129, with at least 150 individuals still missing across the state. Our hearts are heavy, and we grieve for the lives lost and the families enduring unimaginable pain. One of the first things people tend to do is look for someone to blame. Was it the fault of the warning system not being early enough? Was it the fault of the government (state and federal)? Was it the fault of God? If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
