Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Today, we gathered at our Sunrise Easter Service to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On Good Friday, Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. But death couldn't hold Him because early on Sunday morning, Jesus got up from the grave!! The body that was laid there and entombed on Friday is not there on Sunday. The resurrection of Jesus proved that He is God and had the victory over sin, death, and Satan.

Everyone is invited to register and be a part of the studio audience for our first-ever Bible Bowl on April 15 from 12pm-2pm. Five teams will go head to head on their knowledge of God's word in a fun and friendly competition. Light refreshments will be served.

Next Sunday, we're having a Ministry Open House, 4/16 right after the church service. Ministries will be stationed around the church so you can ask questions and get more information. If you're not serving or perhaps not serving in the right place, this will be your opportunity to get connected to the right ministry.

Responding to the Flooding All of us are painfully aware of the devastating flooding that struck our nation recently. As of Friday evening, the confirmed death toll in Texas has risen to 129, with at least 150 individuals still missing across the state. Our hearts are heavy, and we grieve for the lives lost and the families enduring unimaginable pain. One of the first things people tend to do is look for someone to blame. Was it the fault of the warning system not being early enough? Was it the fault of the government (state and federal)? Was it the fault of God? If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. A Joyful Announcement: Welcome Baby Eliana! We are thrilled to celebrate the birth of Eliana Corena Thompson , daughter of Lachonya and Robert Thompson. Eliana arrived on December 21st , weighing 6 lbs 2 oz and measuring 19.25 inches long.
