Anniversary Week is almost here, Trotter Wedding Vows Renewal (Pastoral Emphasis for 9/6)

We are reading through the Bible as a church family this year. We're following the 52 week reading plan. We are on week 36.


Get ready!! Our Anniversary Week is almost here.

  • Zone Community Outreach – 9/12 at 9am.
  • Old Fashioned Family and Friends Day – 9/12 at 2pm. 
  • Old Fashioned Revival – 9/16 at 6pm.
  • Anniversary Play – 9/18 at 7:00pm.
  • Anniversary Gala – 9/19 at 7pm. Also, it is not too late to purchase a ticket. Money will be accepted until September 13th. If you pay online, please mark clearly "Anniversary Gala".
  • We'll have a guest speaker on 9/20 to celebrate my 13th pastoral anniversary.

Congrats to Antonio & Nikisha Trotter on their 10th Wedding Anniversary.  They renewed their vows immediately after the service.

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem.
