Speaking at Shepherds, James Bible Study, Spring Spruce Up (Pastoral Emphasis for 3/1)

We are currently fasting and praying as a church family during the Lent season, a 40-day period between Ash Wednesday and Easter (not counting Sundays). We are praying for personal and corporate revival in our church, and sacrificial giving.

I solicit your prayers as I'm going to be speaking at Shepherds Theological Seminary on tomorrow for their morning chapel. Please pray that I will serve the seminary students well and that God would be most glorified.

The new Bible Study series on the book of James will begin on Wednesday, March 4th, at 7:00pm. Join us and bring a friend for this exciting new series!

I hope we've gotten this snow & winter weather out of our system. So it's time to Spruce Up our church. Please join us on Saturday, March 7th, for our Spring Spruce Up as we clean God's house. We will begin at 9:00am and end promptly at 12:00pm. All are invited.

I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. Zion Church Family...Today is July 27, 2009 and I would like to share the blessing that I have received from your church. I was talking to my very dear sister, soror, friend Sis Brandi Hancock and she and I were having a heart to heart. I told her that I was

One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
