Thanks to all who spread the word as well as came out to participate in the Whole Health Outreach Day yesterday. We're glad to have the opportunity to serve our community with the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
Our theme for this year is "The Church on Mission". Join us this Wednesday for the last session of our Follow Me Bible Study as we look at the mission of followers of Christ.
We know that the church's mission is to make disciples of all nations. To that end, we have another opportunity for a mission trip to Ecuador. There was an information session after the service today. This Ecuador Mission Trip is a great first mission trip. You will be forever changed by it. Today at 4pm, we went to New Life Ministries of Apex to ordain Daryl Cody as elder and install him as pastor. We are so thankful to God for allowing us to equip and send out capable men for the Gospel. We need more Gospel preachers and Gospel-centered churches.
Join us this Tuesday for Elder-led Prayer from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. This prayer is open to all and we will be praying for a personal and corporate revival in our church.
As we go through the book of Acts, we'll read about quite a few miraculous things. But the point of these things is to point people to Christ and give opportunity for the Gospel to go forth. Sadly, too many Christians are looking for signs and wonders over looking at the sure Word of God. Check out this video from Beautiful Eulogy called "Symbols and Signs".
