Mt. Zion will be partnering with Mosaic Church on Saturday, November 23rd, to distribute food baskets to local families for Thanksgiving. We are asking members to contribute items for the food baskets for the food baskets: $10 grocery store gift card, can of corn, can of green beans, box of jiffy cornbread mix, stuffing, gravy, can of cranberries, package of mashed potatoes. Members may also make a monetary donation towards this project before November 18th to allow the church time to purchase the food items. We also need volunteers to assemble and distribute the food baskets. Sign up online.

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. We watched a video and prayed for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

Mortgage Burning Ceremony (10.6.24)

Today is a day of celebration and gratitude as we come together to witness the burning of our church’s mortgage! This moment represents years of faith, commitment, and sacrificial giving from this congregation. It’s a testament to God’s faithfulness and the dedication of His people. If God is so good, why do we suffer with natural disasters like flooding that takes the lives of seemingly innocent people like young children? The reality is that the fault lies with us. Humanity decided to rebel against the Creator God, thereby, ushering in sin and the fall from God's perfect creation. Natural disasters happen because we live in a fallen world ravaged by sin. Natural disasters like these floods are trag...
