The Prayer 2013 area-wide prayer gathering will be held at Memorial Auditorium, Raleigh, on Tuesday, October 15th, from 7 to 9pm. The event will be led by a group of area pastors, with many churches participating. Mt. Zion has 24 reserved seats available. You may sign up online if you would like to participate. Contact Sis. We are having a Minister's Ordination Service next Sunday at 4pm, where Ministers Hanebeck, Daryl and Angela Cody will be ordained. Bishop Eric Ellis, Pastor of Philippian Community Church will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend.
Next Sunday, we're starting a new series in the book of Ruth called "The Steadfast Love of the Redeemer". This book is not about dating or a woman getting her "Boaz". We'll see how it's all about Jesus!
Our C3 LifeGroups are launching in October. Joining a LifeGroup will help you to live in community and help foster discipleship. 18 people have already signed up for a LifeGroup so you don't have to wait until October.
