Single Moms Life Group, M:T RDU Expo, Church Family Meeting (Pastoral Emphasis for 10/25)

Single Moms Life Group Meet & Greet

Our Single Moms Life Group is hosting a Meet & Greet immediately after worship today in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

Being a single mom comes with unique joys and challenges, and having a supportive community can make a tremendous difference. This Life Group is designed to provide opportunities for encouragement, fellowship, and meaningful connections with other single moms.

If you're a single mom, I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to meet other women, build relationships, and discover a community where you can find encouragement and support.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect. We hope to see you there!

Missions: Together RDU Expo

Don't forget to register for the Missions: Together RDU Expo on Saturday, November 7!

This year's theme is “Translating the Gospel to Every Worldview.”

Jesus commissioned His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). That commission challenges us to take the unchanging message of the Gospel to people from different cultures, backgrounds, and worldviews. While the message never changes, we must learn how to communicate it effectively to the people God has placed around us.

The Expo will be a day of worship, teaching, and connection, designed to equip believers with practical insights for communicating the Gospel across cultural and worldview boundaries.

We're excited to have two keynote speakers addressing important areas of Gospel engagement:

Dr. Rosaria Butterfield will address Translating the Gospel to the LGBTQ+ Community, helping us consider how to communicate biblical truth with clarity, conviction, and Christlike love.
  •  Pastor Jerome Gay will address Translating the Gospel to an Urban Context, helping us better understand how to engage urban communities with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

These sessions will challenge us to think carefully about how we share our faith and encourage us to become more intentional and effective witnesses for Christ.

Register HERE today!

I'd love to see a strong representation from our Mt. Zion family at this year's Expo. Whether you're involved in missions, evangelism, discipleship, or simply desire to grow in your ability to share Christ with others, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.

The Gospel is for everyone. Let's become better equipped to share it with anyone!

Church Family Meeting

Finally, a reminder to all Mt. Zion members that our Church Family Meeting will take place immediately following today's worship service.

Please make plans to stay and participate.

Our Church Family Meetings are an important part of maintaining communication, strengthening our fellowship, and working together as we carry out the mission God has entrusted to us.

Your presence matters, and we look forward to seeing you there!
