Bereavement
Please keep Bro. Zach Steele in your prayers following the passing of a dear friend who was like a brother to him.
The loss of someone so close brings a unique kind of grief. Let's surround Bro. Zach with our prayers, encouragement, and love during this difficult time.
Thank You for a Great Fall Church Clean-Up!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped with our Fall Church Clean-Up!
We had 19 participants, including 14 members of our leadership, who gave their time and energy to help care for our church facilities.
Participation by zone was:
Zone 1: 2
Zone 2: 6
Zone 3: 6
Zone 4: 5
Together, our volunteers contributed an incredible 33,768 minutes of work, resulting in an estimated savings of $2,814!
Thank you for demonstrating that stewardship includes caring for the physical resources God has entrusted to us. Your service is greatly appreciated.
Our next opportunity to spruce up God's house will be in Spring 2027. We'll see which zone comes out on top next time!

Missions: Together Expo
Mark your calendars for this year's Missions: Together Expo on Saturday, November 7.
Our theme this year is:
“Translating the Gospel to Every Worldview”
The Expo will be a transformative day of worship, teaching, and connection as we explore how to communicate the unchanging Gospel effectively across different cultural and worldview boundaries.
You'll leave equipped with practical strategies that can help you engage people from different backgrounds with the good news of Jesus Christ.
We're excited to welcome our keynote speakers, Rosaria Butterfield and Pastor Jerome Gay.
Save the date and make plans to join us!
My Hope Sunday
Finally, next Sunday is My Hope Sunday!
We're asking every member of Mt. Zion to invite at least one unbeliever or unchurched person to join us for worship. Our desire is simple: we want them to hear about the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.
Who is the person God has placed in your life who needs to hear the Gospel?
A family member?
A coworker?
A neighbor?
A friend?
This week, don't just think about them—pray for them and invite them.
We're also asking you to bring the names of the people you intend to invite so that we can pray over those names together as a church family.
Every name represents a person. Every person represents a soul. And every soul needs the hope found in Jesus.
