Welcome New Member, Become a Zion Connector, WNBS Summer Series (Pastoral Emphasis for 7/12)

Welcome New Member

Sis. Mia Otoya Ruiz who has completed her New Members Orientation and Membership Interview. Please  welcome her to the Mt. Zion family.

Thank You for an Amazing VBS!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Vacation Bible School! Whether you attended as a participant, volunteered behind the scenes, taught a class, or supported your family by bringing them each evening, you helped make VBS a wonderful week of learning, fellowship, and fun.

As we begin planning for next year, we'd love to hear from you. Please take a few moments to complete our VBS Survey.

Your feedback is invaluable. It helps us celebrate what went well while also identifying ways we can make next year's Vacation Bible School an even better experience for everyone.

Thank you for investing in this important ministry!

Become a Zion Connector

As Mt. Zion continues to grow, we want every new member to feel welcomed, connected, and supported from the very beginning.

That's why we're looking for volunteers to serve as Zion Connectors.

Zion Connectors come alongside new members during their first 90 days at Mt. Zion, helping them build relationships, answer questions, learn about opportunities for involvement, and feel at home in our church family.

If you enjoy meeting people, encouraging others, and helping them find their place in the life of the church, this is a wonderful opportunity to serve.

You can sign up by scanning the QR code or by visiting the Discipleship Engagement Committee's interest table in the Welcome Center after service through July 26.

Together, let's make sure every new member experiences the love, fellowship, and community that make Mt. Zion such a special place.

Summer Bible Study Series Continues

Our Wednesday Night Bible Study Summer Series is off to a wonderful start!

Throughout the month, we're exploring Isaiah chapters 40–44, discovering God's powerful message of comfort and restoration for His people. These chapters remind us that our God is faithful, sovereign, and always at work to strengthen and encourage His children.

If you haven't joined us yet, there's still plenty of time to jump in!

Each Wednesday evening:

  • Dinner: 6:00–6:50 PM

  • Bible Study: 7:00 PM

    • Classes for adults

    • Classes for youth

    • Classes for children

To help us prepare enough food for everyone, please register in Realm before Wednesday.

We look forward to another evening of meaningful fellowship, encouraging conversations, and studying God's Word together.

We hope you'll take advantage of these opportunities to grow in your faith, build relationships, and serve others. God is doing wonderful things at Mt. Zion, and we're grateful to be part of His work together.

Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)

Minnesota School Shooting Our hearts are heavy over the tragic school and church shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic School, where two children lost their lives and many others—some as young as six—are recovering from serious injuries. Sadly, we couldn't get through a full week of traditional school before something like this happens. In this time of profound sorrow, let us hold close in prayer the grieving parents, families, and the entire Annunciation community. Though we cannot fully comprehend their pain, we can stand alongside them in faith, offering compassion, and intercession. May God bring comfort to those who mourn, healing to the wounded, and peace to a terrified community.  Of course, a mass shooting always brings up the issue for stricter gun laws. I agree we do need good legislation and sensible gun laws because it is the government's responsibility to protect its citizens. Ultimately, that will not solve our problem. For a country that has been ...
