January Birthdays & Anniversaries, MLK Weekend, Revelation Study Guide (Pastoral Emphasis for 1/7)

Welcome New Member (completed NMO & membership interview): Isiah Smith

Happy Birthday to our January babies...

Happy Anniversary to our January couples...

Our January Senior Birthday Surprise goes to Bro. Willie Covington!

We have a couple of events happening during the MLK Weekend. On 1/14 from 5:30 to 7:30pm, there will be A Village Community Meal and Interactive Learning Experience at First Cary UMC. Please register for a free dinner including nursery childcare, and sessions for children, teens, and adults.

On 1/15 from 10am to 12pm, Mt. Zion is hosting a 5K Walk for Hope. We'll also be partnering with Love from Above & Oak City Cares to raise awareness for the unhoused/homeless. When you register, you'll see the complete list of items you can bring for donation.

There are Church-Wide Event Calendars are available for pick up in the lobby at the Welcome Center. These are complimentary gifts to you, however, supplies are limited to one per household.

The Lord laid it on my heart to put together a study resource for Revelation. So I compiled all my research, exegetical work, and sermon notes for the Revelation sermon series into one large study guide. It's 71 pages long and contains material that I couldn't cover during the sermon series. I hope that it will be a blessing to you as you continue to read and study the book of Revelation.

Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion. We appreciate the investment these programs make in developing and encouraging young people, and we thank Ms. Daniel and Ms. Owens for their leadership and partnership. J.
