Recently Joined, Theological Seminar on Spiritual Gifts, Happy Mother's Day (Pastoral Emphasis for 5/8)

We welcome Sis. Fannie Smith who recently joined the church on Christian experience. Also, keep her and the family in your prayers for a recent bereavement)

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

One of the ways we will move to the right (spiritual maturity) is to get a better understanding of what are spiritual gifts and how to operate in them. Join us for our next Theological Seminar on Spiritual Gifts. Our speaker will be Pastor John McLeod, Executive Pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Apex. Please register on Realm.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers!

We also recognize that today can be hard for many of us who have lost our mother, those who have lost children (some by disease, miscarriages, or abortion), and those who desire to have children but it has not happened yet. We pray for you to be comforted and strengthened in the Lord. Remember that your identity is not found in motherhood but in Christ.

Since this is the first Mother's Day since my mother's passing, I shared a brief tribute to my mother.

So in order to remove any barriers that might prevent some from visiting us or feeling comfortable in our service, the leadership will dress a little more casual. We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
