Bereavement, My Hope Sunday & Testimony (Pastoral Emphasis for 3/4)

Sis. Jackie Wooten's mother passed last week. The funeral will be on Wednesday in Goldsboro. Please pray for Sis. Wooten and her family during this time of bereavement.

We are having My Hope Outreach Sunday, where all of our members are asked to commit to inviting at least one unbeliever or unchurched person to join us at church on 3/18. During that service, we will share the hope we have in Jesus Christ. This week, write down the names of those you are inviting to My Hope Sunday on your commitment card and pray that they would come and God will save them. Next Sunday, we'll collect all the commitment cards with the names and we'll pray for them.

As we prepare our hearts for My Hope Sunday, we'll have testimonies from various people to share their hope in Jesus Christ. Today, Sis. Jennifer Allen shared how God helped to forgive and heal from hurt she received in church.

We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
