The God Who Sends Us, Theological Seminar, Church Family Meeting (Pastoral Emphasis for 10/15)

Join us for our Discipleship Journey at Wednesday Bible Study at 7pm. This Wednesday, we'll look at the God who sends us on mission to tell the world about the Gospel.


What does it mean to live as sons and daughters of God? Do you consider it a privilege that God has adopted us into His family? Theologian J.I. Packer says "Adoption is the highest privilege that the Gospel offers: higher even than justification". Join us for our upcoming theological seminar on Saturday, October 28th, from 9:00am to 11:30am. Rev. Eddie Brown, Together in Grace Ministry, will be teaching on "Living by Grace (God's Adoption of Us)". Come out and learn about this important doctrine. Light refreshments will be served. Please register for the seminar online or use the Connections card.

Mark for your calendars for our last Church Family Meeting for the year on Sunday, 10/29, right after the service.

We're taking a little break from the Gospel of Mark but we'll be back in November.

Youth Sunday, J. Allen Lewis Scholarship Winners, A Word to Our Graduates (Pastoral Emphasis for 6/14)

  Today was Youth Sunday , where our children and youth were leading and participating in the worship service. Our children read scripture, prayed, sang, and ministered a fine arts piece. We heard a message from a youth speaker, Abigail Campbell, who encouraged us to work hard and leave the rest to God.  Celebrating Our Graduates We also recognized and celebrated all of our graduates. Whether you completed high school, earned a college degree, completed graduate studies, or achieved another educational milestone, we rejoice with you and thank God for your hard work and perseverance. We are also grateful for the impact of the Delta Academy and GEM programs , which have been meeting at Mt. Zion. We appreciate the investment these programs make in developing and encouraging young people, and we thank Ms. Daniel and Ms. Owens for their leadership and partnership. J.
