Elder-led Prayer, Family Day in the Tropics, Initial Sermon (Pastoral Emphasis for 5/25)

Thanks to Will and Melissa Oliver for leading us in worship.  Melissa is a recording artist so please check out her Facebook page.

Tomorrow is Memorial Day which is a day to remember those who have died while serving in the military. We should also pray for those families who may still be mourning the loss of their loved one.

Everyone is invited to join us this Tuesday for Elder-led Prayer from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. We will be praying for various things. If you can't make it, submit your prayer requests online.

Don't forget to register our FREE Theological Seminar on May 31 at 9am. The topic will be "How to Study the Bible".  Our speaker will be Dr. Ben Merkle who teaches hermeneutics (science of interpreting the Bible) at SEBTS. We have seminary-level instruction happening so don't miss it. Register online.

Also on May 31st, the Children's Church will be having a "FAMILY DAY in the TROPICS" on Saturday, May 31st, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  We will have games, raffles, prizes, and refreshments. Bring your BFF's, walk buddies, and EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

It's time to register for VBS, June 9-13, 2014. Our theme is "God's Backyard Bible Camp Under the Sun." ring your lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, suntan lotion, and your biggest hat so we can have a great time. Minnesota School Shooting, Music Ministry Recruitment, Ark Encounter Trip (Pastoral Emphasis for 8/31)
