Salvation Army Angel Tree
Our Mt. Zion Seasoned Sisters are sponsoring a church-wide Angel Tree event through the Salvation Army.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our church family to share the love of Christ by helping bring joy and encouragement to others during the Christmas season.
Sis. Phyllis Lewis will provide additional details about how everyone can participate.
Let's look forward to coming together to make a difference in the lives of those in our community!
Missions: Together RDU Expo
We're less than a week away from the Missions: Together RDU Expo on Saturday, November 7!
This year's theme is: “Translating the Gospel to Every Worldview”
We're excited about our keynote speakers, Dr. Rosaria Butterfield and Pastor Jerome Gay, but that's not all! In addition to the keynote presentations, we'll have several excellent breakout sessions designed to help us understand how to communicate the Gospel effectively to people from different cultural backgrounds and worldviews.
Here are some of the breakout sessions being offered:
Translating the Gospel to Your Special Needs Neighbor
Translating the Gospel to Your Hindu Neighbor
Translating the Gospel to Mental Health
Translating the Gospel to Gen Z
Sharpening Your Mission
Translating the Gospel to the Business World
Leveraging Marketplace Ministries
Translating the Gospel to the Public Schools
Translating the Gospel to the Deaf
Translating the Gospel to Men
These sessions will provide practical insights and strategies to help us become more effective in sharing the unchanging message of Jesus Christ with people from different walks of life.
Jesus has commissioned us to make disciples of all nations. That means learning how to engage people across cultural, social, and worldview boundaries while remaining faithful to the Gospel.

I'd love to see a strong representation from our Mt. Zion family. Let's come out, learn together, and grow in our ability to share the Gospel!
Exercise Your Right to Vote
As citizens, we have both an opportunity and a responsibility to participate in the civic process. I want to encourage everyone to exercise your right to vote on Tuesday, November 3.If you haven't voted early, take time to learn about the candidates and the issues, prayerfully consider your choices, and make your voice heard at the ballot box.
As we participate in the political process, I also want to remind us of something important: our unity in Christ is greater than any political affiliation.
We may have different political perspectives, opinions, and preferences, but those differences should never become a source of division within the body of Christ. Our ultimate allegiance is to Jesus Christ, and our identity in Him is greater than any political party or candidate.
Let's approach this election with wisdom, prayer, respect, and a commitment to love one another.
Make your voice count—exercise your right to vote!
