Prayer Rally, My Hope Sunday, Bible Bowl II (Pastoral Emphasis for 2/18)

Welcome to our newest member who has completed New Members Orientation and membership interview: Roddric Scott

Our next Church-Wide Prayer Rally is Tuesday, 2/20, from 7 to 8pm. Our Image Bearers Men's Ministry will be hosting. Our prayer focus will be “Living with a Sense of Urgency!” from 1 Peter 4:7-11. Everyone is invited to participate. You can also submit your prayer requests online or in the prayer request box (at the back of the sanctuary).

My Hope Sunday will be March 10. All of our members are asked to commit to inviting at least one unbeliever or unchurched person to join us at church on My Hope Sunday. During that service, we will share the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Start praying about who you will invite to that service. We'll be providing invitation and commitment cards next week.

Ok, the Super Bowl is over but our Bible Bowl II is starting. There will be an information gathering meeting in the MPR right after service. We had a lot of fun last year so attend the meeting if you're interested in learning more about it.

Don't forget that we're doing a church-wide partial fast for Lent. We're giving up something (particular food, drink, or activity) to pray (including prayer for our outreach to our neighbors in Northwoods Crossing).

Dress Code, Spreading the Gospel to Japan, Skits & Pizza (Pastoral Emphasis from 7/26)

Thanks to all who came out to the Church Family Meeting. Our focus is reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So in order to remove any barriers that might prevent some from visiting us or feeling comfortable in our service, the leadership will dress a little more casual. We will try this out until the end of the year and then evaluate. So don't be surprised when you see me not wearing a tie! I shared the following email that we got via our website to show that we are spreading the Gospel worldwide. To God be the glory! Greetings Mt. One Life Saved

The Bible declares that all life is valuable. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:13-14). Here's the story of one life saved....
